Description

Artemide Ripple Suspension Lamp is a high-quality model modeled in NURBS, divided by layer to handle different elements and materials of the model more efficiently.

The model has a fully textured, detailed design that allows close-up renders.

3d file is originally modeled in Rhinoceros, and the preview is done with Rhinoceros Render view and has no postprocessing.

Product Details

It is a suspension system that models the qualities of space through molecular growth, combining light and sound absorption.

Comprised of circular structures of three different diameters, it works in layers of performance that can be modulated according to needs.

The structures can be animated with "pure" light or enriched with a diffuser that, in addition to interacting with the light, has sound-absorbing properties.

The basic element of the product is the circular ring whose profile is a synthesis of optics and mechanics.

The ripple elements can then be combined into increasingly complex custom designs: simple lines or geometries of elements of constant diameter, compositions that combine different diameters in a more organic and free growth, up to solutions with a scenographic effect.

Once again, guiding the Artemide project with BIG is a strong idea of interaction with spaces, an open, modular, and scalable solution that combines technological innovation and compositional intelligence, translating them into a result that is apparently elementary but scenographic and full of potential.

To this freedom of configuration is then added the flexibility in management provided by the interaction with the Artemide App.
