What kind of license do the models include?
License terms vary by model and are clearly stated on each product page. Some models include a commercial license suitable for client work, rendering and marketing. Others are distributed under editorial license, ideal for visualization, portfolio and non-commercial use. Always check the license tab on the product page before purchasing.
Which file formats do you provide?
Each model is available in up to 8 formats. Base formats: 3DM (Rhino), FBX, OBJ, MAX (3ds Max) and SKP (SketchUp). Additionally, Unity, Unreal Engine and KeyShot packages include pre-mapped materials ready to render out of the box — no manual setup required. V-Ray and Corona are supported as render engines via the base formats. The exact formats available for each model are listed on its product page.
Can I use the models for animation and VR?
Yes. All models come with clean topology and proper UV mapping, making them suitable for still renders, animations, real-time engines (Unreal, Unity) and VR/AR experiences.
Do I get updates after purchase?
Yes. Every purchase includes lifetime free updates: whenever we improve a model or add new format variations, you can download the updated version at no extra cost from your account area.
Is there a refund policy?
Because digital assets are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, purchases are generally final. However, if a file is corrupted, incorrectly described or unusable we will replace it or issue a full refund within 14 days.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is per-model. Some assets are free, others are priced based on complexity and brand licensing. Alternatively, monthly subscriptions start at €25/month (18 credits) up to €59/month (50 credits), with annual plans saving up to 50% vs single purchases.
How exactly does the subscription work?
Each subscription plan provides a monthly bundle of download credits. One credit corresponds to one model download. Subscription credits (Silver) refresh every month and expire at the end of the period. Directly purchased credits (Gold) never expire. You can switch, pause or cancel your plan anytime from your account.
Are the models compatible with Blender?
Yes. While we don’t ship a native BLEND format, all our base files (OBJ, FBX) import cleanly into Blender. Materials may require manual reassignment when importing into Blender from pre-mapped Unity, Unreal or KeyShot packages.
Can I use the models for NFT or Web3 projects?
Use in NFT or blockchain-related projects is not included in the standard license. If you plan to mint NFTs or integrate models into tokenized assets, please contact us at support@3dmodelunity.com to discuss extended licensing.
Do you offer discounts for students or academia?
Yes. We offer dedicated discounts for students, teachers and academic institutions using the assets for educational purposes. Contact us at support@3dmodelunity.com with your academic credentials to request access.

3DModelUnity serves customers worldwide. All assets are digital and downloaded instantly — no shipping required. The platform is available in English and Italian. Prices are shown in Euros (EUR).
